Mitch Speed

My name is Mitch Speed and I have been a Law Enforcement Officer for over fifteen years. In May of 2016, I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. At that time, I was working as a Detective for one of the largest law enforcement agencies in the nation. My duty assignment was to conduct investigations into violent criminal cases. Upon the day of my diagnosis, I stepped away from my job and gave my life completely to God and asked Him to use me in whatever way He saw fit.

My book is one of the ways He has chosen to use my life and my journey to help others. This book is not about my life as a Detective, this book is about the man who lives behind the badge. This book is a conduit to share the ways He has touched my life and prepared me for this journey. My prayer is that the simple words in my book might help you through your own personal storm as I share my uniquely insightful perspective on life.
