Manas Deb

Manas Deb is currently the business head of Cloud computing business of Capgemini/Europe. He is a 30+ year veteran of software industry and has deep working experience of all aspects of the industry such as development, product management, architecting enterprise-level solution, management of transformative customer projects, and sales and marketing.

Manas has worked in various industries and across many continents. He has worked in leading roles in large multi-nationals as well as in start-ups. During his work at TIBCO and Oracle, he focused on the whole spectrum of middleware technologies including SOA, BPM, Case Management, EAI, BI, real-time analytics, complex event processing, DevOps, etc. Manas has co-authored five books on SOA, BPM, Case Management and Digital Transformation methodologies. At his current job, Manas is also a thought leader of digital transformation.

Manas has bachelors and masters degrees in engineering, an MBA, and a doctoral in Computational and Applied Mathematics (an interdisciplinary program involving Applied Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering done at University of Texas at Austin). Manas has dual residency in Texas and in Germany. In his free time, Manas enjoys reading, painting, traveling and hiking, and sampling cuisines and music from various countries.
