Heather Konet (1977) was born and raised in Metro Detroit and has loved technology and storytelling since the time she was a little girl. Now, as a Mother and Engineer, Heather has combined her passions into creative stories that intend to get kids excited about engineering and invention through fun and relatable characters. Her books are fun loving and appeal to kids' sense of wonder, while introducing engineering concepts in a straightforward and understandable way. Heather's stories have been featured in USA Today, Detroit Metro Parent and continue to gain attention due to their originality and fun nature.
