Randall E. Duran

Randall E. Duran is a Senior Lecturer of Information Systems at Singapore Management University and holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.). He was formerly the chairman and CEO of Catena Technologies, which provided derivatives trade reporting and other Fintech solutions. Catena Technologies was acquired by IHS Markit in February of 2020. Prior to founding Catena, Randall began his career as one of the early employees at TIBCO, where he spent nearly ten years. He has worked with financial institutions in the United States, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa, including retail banks, investment banks, and stock exchanges. Randall has started and grown Fintech companies, has served as the Chief Information Officer of a US-based bank, and acts as technology advisor to financial institutions and Fintech companies.
