William Mason

William Mason (W. S. Mason), author of "The Boy with the Rainbow Heart," "The Boy with the Rainbow Heart and the Invasion of Big Angry Red," "Keep Walking," "The Backyard," "Shadow," "A Honey Bee and Me," and "Rocky Roswell" currently resides in Buffalo, New York, with his wife and dog, Peyton. Mason has degrees in Criminal Justice and History from SUNY Oneonta and a Masters in Social Work from the University at Buffalo (UB).

"There are a lack of diversity-themed children's books available for children and I am trying to change that. Children need to see diverse themes and characters normalized as they grow up. I am very passionate about helping kids and I believe in the power of love and acceptance."
