Michael Noonan

Living in the town of Halifax, in the Pennine Hills, in West Yorkshire, UK. I have a background in office work, food production and retailing. I have written short stories, essays, aphorisms, poems, plays and sketches for some years now, and have had work published in anthologies and posted on online sites. Have also had a comic novella, A SERPENT IN EDEN, and a mystery novella, FOOTSTEPS TO MURDER, published by www.inkitt.com, in America; which is said to be the world's first reader-powered book publisher.

Aside from writing my other main interest is in the fine arts. And I have sold original artworks I have made – acrylics, watercolours drawings, and reproductions – on eBay. Have also had some illustrations published in literary magazines. I enjoy reading, both fiction and nonfiction, going for walks in the country, watching movies and TV documentaries and listening to BBC Radio Four. I'm also in a pub quiz team.
