Sally Dill

Sally Dill wrote and illustrated her first book series when she was around seven. Only the first book survived the many events and changes in her life. Occasionally she pulls it out of a box to reflect on the journey that brought her back to her true passion: writing.

With degrees in interior design and architecture, Sally has traveled down several career paths—all crucial contributors to how and why she writes today. But through all that growth and change, one characteristic has remained steadfast since childhood: Sally is a proud nightlifer (night owl) who doesn’t think that anyone should have to apologize for being productive while most are sleeping and sleeping a little while most are productive. If it weren’t for the quiet solitude of the night, she probably would have never become an author.

She has many interests but is most passionate about writing, art, and design. Driven by curiosity, she often finds inspiration in the scientific process and its persistent path forward in striving to understand the endless wonders of the universe.
