Nol Alembong is Professor of African Literature and Civilisations and current Dean of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Buea, Cameroon. He is a keen observer of nature, a strong exponent of eco-culture and a passionate advocate of environmental protection, enrichment and sustenance. His areas of teaching and research are African oral literature, oral traditions and literature, cultural studies and African religious beliefs. He is the author of two other volumes of poetry, two scholarly works and an impressive number of articles published in scientific journals. He has also co-edited three scholarly works on language, literature and culture.
