I take pride in being a retired Navy veteran. While serving my country, I developed an interest in writing short stories during the long, tedious, and dull watches I stood. It was not until I retired that I began to write a series of short stories set during the 19th century revolving around a character suffering from nostalgia/soldier’s heart, or what today we call Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Using my two passions of the Martial Art of Aikido and history, I merged these short stories into my novel, Stones And Water.
