R. Alison Turner

Dr. R. Alison Turner began her professional career as an Officer in the US Navy, serving as a personnel support manager, recruiter, assistant legal officer, and military leadership counsellor. Completing her military commitment, she moved into the defense contracting community, assuming management and leadership assignments with the defense contracting community as a logistics engineer, program manager, and corporate manager.

As one of only a hand-full Doctors of Project Management within the continental United States, R. Alison earned international recognition for her research-based dissertation, Determining the Impact of Emotional Intelligence in Project Management as a measure of Performance, fulfilling all requirements for the degree of Doctor of Project Management from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Melbourne, AUS. She earned a master’s degree from Temple University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado.
