Massimo Nepote Andre

Born in Turin in 1951. Graduated in mechanical engineering, traveller and photographer, expert skier, with nature in his soul. In 2003, during a restructuring work of an ancient settlement in the Alps, he found many artefacts and... a disturbing document hidden between the old stones of a wall.

During the Olympic Wintergames in 2006, he lives on the site for a month: snow, wind, embers in the fireplace, an owl just outside the door visiting sometimes for food and the mind asking: how was living here fifty, hundred... or one thousand years ago? The seed is planted, the sprout will spire after a while: in 2009 he starts to write: "Non Dire" (Do not Say) the volume N.1 of the saga "I Nodi della Terra" (The Nodes of The Earth). Followed by the second chapter (Shadow in The West) and third (Apocalypsis) final chapter of the trilogy. A 1300 pages journey, through 200 locations in 5 continents and whitness of the evolving personality of the characters, perfect for a screenplay. Ancient powers, fights, history, science, passions, the time, the Earth, the collective consciouness... the Templars (an inusual one). In 2018 he worked at the re-editing of his first 1973 guide teaching the surveying and searching gold in the rivers: "there's no try, just recovering". In 2021 he published "L'oro di Caalum" an epic thrilling adventure starting from ancient Romans evolving to a future in 2030 in wich the humanity must save itself by the help of a new vision, an impossible element and a Creature coming from the past. The author brings his personal vision of our society, the errors and the crimes made in the history, the shadows and the mistakes of the religions, the blindness by which we consider the nature. But always with the purpose to offer something able to take you away from your worries, for few hours, while reading.
