Andy Gray

Andy lived and worked with youth in east Los Angeles in the 1990's. He earned an M.A. in cross-cultural studies at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena in 1998. Then he served with a Christian organization for nine years in Japan and six years in Cambodia working with and on behalf of marginalized children and youth. During that time he became an advocate for family-based care and served as a communications consultant and writer for two pioneering organizations: M'lup Russey and Alongsiders International. Currently, he lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife and three daughters, where he teaches history and serves on the U.S. board of Alongsiders International. His books include Home, a Cambodian story (2015) and The Alongsiders Story (2017).
