Rebekah Olson

Born in Oregon in 1973, Rebekah has always had a love of story. When she was too young to start school, she would get frustrated with big people who were too busy to tell her stories. So she tried writing her own. The biggest problem? She couldn't read, so she didn't know what she was writing. After filling entire notebook pages with writing squiggles, she was dying to know what the story was, so she took it to big people to ask them to read it to her. Those darn big people, all of them refused to read her the story, claiming the writing didn't say anything. Of COURSE it said SOMETHING. She knew it did. Because she wrote it.

Fast forward about 30 years or so, when her young daughter brought her a page filled with scribbles and asked what the story was, Rebekah made up a story right there on the spot, pretending to read what her little girl wrote, because she still understands love for story.

Mother of three daughters who have all reached school age, wife of the handsomest computer geek around, Rebekah is finally enjoying some time at home to herself where she holes up, studies story structure and techniques, reads novels, and attempts to hammer out a few stories of her own (for real this time).
