Arnold Robinson was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky in 1949. Shortly after they'd migrate to southern Ohio where their father sought work. Arnold attended the Dayton Art Institute before moving to Colorado. As a pipefitter, for 35 years, he travelled throughout the country, reminiscing as his story began to take form. After seventeen years Mr. Robinson finished his books of what life was like in the late 50's and 60's, and was published in 2017. The Second Born series, The Dead Giants, The Reverends Ways, and The Gant House tell of the struggles of a poor family in rural Appalachia.
