Hermann Observer

Hermann Observer (AKA Hermann O.) is a mean, nasty and cynical old American who lives in Berlin and thinks everything was better in the past. He is homesick for a place that no longer exists. He is conservative by nature and very passionate about free speech, free choice and the rule of law. That said, he is also a humorist. Go figure.
