Sarah Allison

Sarah Danielle Allison is an Associate Professor of English at Loyola University New Orleans and the author of "The Rise of Celebrity Authorship: Nineteenth-Century Print Culture and Antislavery" (Columbia, 2025) and "Reductive Reading: A Syntax of Victorian Moralizing" (Johns Hopkins, 2018). She is a co-author of three of the Stanford Literary Lab pamphlets included in "Canon/Archive" (n+1 books, 2017). She received her Ph.D. in English from Stanford University and her B.A. from Carleton College.
