La caracterización y el análisis de las formas orgánicas y minerales del nitrógeno permitirán optimizar la fertilización nitrogenada y limitar las pérdidas por lixiviación, fuentes de contaminación de las aguas subterráneas. En un contexto pedoclimático árido a semiárido, donde los aportes orgánicos son limitados, el estudio se basa en un enfoque que combina prospección pedogenética, análisis de laboratorio y experimentos controlados in situ. Los resultados revelan una elevada concentración de nitrógeno orgánico en los horizontes superficiales, con un enriquecimiento de las fracciones finas y del humus, principal reservorio de nitrógeno. La mineralización varía en función del tipo de suelo, con un potencial máximo en los suelos calizos pardos. La distribución de las diferentes formas de nitrógeno está fuertemente influenciada por las condiciones climáticas y la profundidad del suelo, subrayando la importancia de una gestión diferenciada según el tipo de suelo y el contexto agroecológico.…

Mené dans le cadre d'une collaboration entre la Cité des Sciences et la Faculté des Sciences à Tunis, le travail s'appuie sur une sélection de sites situés le long de l'axe Béja-Oued Zerga-Mjez El Bab, zone restreinte mais représentative d'une diversité bioclimatique allant du subhumide au semi-aride. Cette diversité reflète les grands processus de pédogenèse méditerranéenne, illustrés par des sols fersiallitiques, des profils calcaires différenciés, des Vertisols et des sols peu évolués influencés par l'aridité et l'érosion. Sur le plan méthodologique, l'étude a permis d'élaborer et de tester un protocole opérationnel de fabrication de monolithes grandeur nature et de mini-profils, ainsi que la conception de supports muséographiques adaptés. Enfin, un texte explicatif bilingue a été rédigé afin d'accompagner ces monolithes et de guider l'observation des caractères morphologiques clés, notamment la couleur, la structure et la texture.
