Steven Hamilton

Steven Hamilton was born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1949. At the ripe old age of 19, he enlisted in the U. S. Coast Guard, beginning a series of careers that would include administration of a substance abuse hospital, executive director of an AIDS service organization, and professor of management at the University of Alaska Southeast. His first novel, Dragon Slayers, was published in 2018. When not writing or out in the Alaska wilds with his camera, he can be found slaying dragons and generally saving the world on his human warrior, Ayndrael, in the online game, Guild Wars 2. He lives with his wife, Mary, in Anchorage, Alaska.
