Maureen Straka

Maureen is a reading teacher from Northeastern PA, where she lives with her husband, two sons, and her dog, Griff. She is a member of the SCBWI and has stories published in Stories for Children Magazine, Spider, and Clubhouse Jr. Magazine.

She is the author of The New Kid Series (Books 1-6), Fraidy Kat, and The Tooth Fairy Trap. Her latest release is the middle-grade chapter book How Jackson Patterson Saved the Band.
