DANARD WILSON

Born a 70’s baby to a struggling mother of three, living Brooklyn, N.Y.; Danard Wilson was the middle child who always had the ability to tell a good story.

He started out a troubled youth who eventually became influenced by his peers like so many others who fell prey to the lure, Danard found himself caught up in some of the myths that urban hood legends evoke.

Taking his experiences that was learned in the cruel streets of New York, Danard turned it into his true passion, which is telling a good story but through the lens of a camera.

The determination to bring a story to the sliver screen or another venue, Danard honed his craft. Well, one day taking pictures and video at a community event, Danard ran into an old friend by the name June miller who happens to be an urban author.

After, long conversations over the phone and a meeting, the two came up with an ideal to shoot a short film to see how people will response. This short film was title: “The Other Side of Brooklyn” and grown into one of the hottest web series on youtube.com
