Lee Bilow

A cast of animal finger puppets and nightly bedtime stories were the inspiration for Giraffe and Birdie’s adventures. Lee and his wife Liz delighted their daughter Taylor with those stories when she was learning to read.

With a background and degree in communications, having worked for several of the world’s largest advertising agencies, Lee wanted to try his hand at writing to share those bedtime stories with children and parents around the world.

Lee wrote this story after being diagnosed with ALS, a debilitating disorder that he says hasn’t affected his spirit.

A lifelong Chicago guy, Lee and his family recently moved to Southeast Florida to enjoy the sun and lizards and frogs.
