Doreen was a theater major at New York University, studying under Stella Adler, and received her cosmetology license from The Robert Fiance School of Cosmetology (NYC). Neither of which has gotten her anywhere, which is why, she has been living in RI under an assumed name since the turn of the century.
She is a SAG-AFTRA member and the 1st female inducted into the Rhode Island Comedy Hall of Fame, but her proudest accomplishments are her 2 children: Devlin and Sean.
Doreen is living happily ever after with Frank and Al. (Not as kinky as it sounds, Al’s their dog.)
One day, while sitting on her big white couch with her little white dog, she was collecting unemployment and thinking about what her next move would be. She decided to write them down and Confessions of a Working Girl or How to Get Laid (Off) was born.
