Lona Smith

Lona Smith, who grew up in Oklahoma, has lived in Colorado, California, and Texas, and now spends her summers on her farm in upstate New York, and her winters on Amelia Island in Florida. She is a member of the Florida Writers Association and the recipient of two Royal Palm Literary Awards for The Promise and Dynamite Mike McGee, a biography.

Lona’s inspiration for her writing comes from her travels, and from her work in jail ministry.
