Arnetha A. Thomas

Arnetha A. Thomas was born (1954), a native Miamiam, to the late Leroy and Eunice Thomas. She’s a graduate of Miami Northwestern Senior High “Home of the Bulls” and later obtained a Master’s of Social Work Degree from Barry University. Arnetha has worked about 45 years in the social services arena to include therapist, mediator, nonviolence practitioner and National Train the Trainer on Restorative Justice Practices that provides support to victims of crime, bullying and other harms made against the victim's will; a value philosophy of accountability, amends and safety. Arnetha and her team has blessed many youths and families to include prevention from juvenile arrests, increased school success, reduced school suspensions and fighting behaviors; as well as the mending of broken/building relationships. Arnetha is also a retired administrator of Miami Dade County where she oversaw juvenile delinquency diversion, intervention and prevention programs.

Arnetha, a licensed and ordained Minister of the Gospel. However she told God "I don't have time to study your word!" Upon repentance and submissiveness, God anointed her to self publish Power of the Blood at Work-Broken Veil and Beautiful As A Butterfly (revised copy to be updated). Her writings are presented in practical, professional and personal manners to motivate and strengthen the readers spiritual and total well-being. She's in the process of putting in the final chapter of Optimal Peer Mediation and more to come to help eliminate community and school violence. Arnetha's vision is to “Challenge & Inspire You for Greatness in Body, Soul, & Spirit.”

Finally Arnetha's new Christian book titled, Get Through, Going Through Life is based on wearing the whole armor of God, Ephesians 6:11-18. Get Through, Going Through-Life speaks to our hearts; the believer and unbeliever. God wants us to trust and execute the provisions He has already provided you and I to get through, going through life’s overwhelming trials, challenges and disappointments; known as “warfare”. God’s provisions are made through wearing His whole armor and ignited by prayer.
