Kat Kuan is an MIT graduate and former engineer at Google, where she trained hundreds of thousands of people across the globe to build Android apps through online Udacity courses.
She is currently a children’s book author and illustrator because of a strong desire to teach life lessons inspired from her own experiences. Without a formal education in writing or drawing, she learned the process of self-publishing a book on her own through trial and error. The journey of the unexpected ups and downs along the way is found on her YouTube channel: What Kat Found Out.
Kat has been featured in the Los Altos Town Crier, and her work at Google has been featured in VentureBeat, The Verge, and TechCrunch. She lives in the Bay Area and is part of the Leadership Mountain View Class of 2018, a program organized by the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce for rising community leaders.
