Larry Upshaw

Larry Upshaw has enjoyed a 50-year career as a journalist, author, publisher and marketing executive. He began his writing career at the University of Texas at Austin, freelancing for the rotogravure magazine of the Dallas Times Herald and staff writer for Texas Highways magazine. He wrote for a number of regional and national newspapers and magazines, including The Dallas Morning News, D Magazine, Atlanta Constitution, Washington Post, Christian Science Monitor, Rocky Mountain Magazine and the Denver Post. As chief executive officer and creative director of Texas Law Marketing, Larry wrote and published a dozen nonfiction books on law, health and business. After more than three decades of dealing with marketing people and lawyers, he semi-retired to found Ageless Authors, a nonprofit international writers' group and publisher dedicated to encouraging and promoting the work of senior writers. Larry is executive director of Ageless Authors.
