David Gilbert

David Gilbert is a poet and writer from Dayton Ohio, revealing themes of love and life to uncover the importance of self-discovery and self-recovery. Attending four years at Stivers School for the Arts with a focus on creative writing and receiving his Associate’s and Bachelor’s degree in English, David has learned his craft by understanding the significance of words to provoke fresh emotion and raw honesty.

Now with that out the way, I can tell you the most important things about myself, such as I'm an avid WWE wrestling fan (yes I believe it's real because it is). also, I like to play video games too, although I've yet to get a new gaming system. I work at Wendy's, currently (hopefully this doesn't remain permanent). Lastly, and obviously, I enjoy reading and watching slam poetry on Youtube. Other than that, I'm not that exciting. Mostly, I'm an introverted scrawny kid trying to make a name for myself somehow, somewhere.
