Doug Green

Dr. Doug Green is blogger, writer, and consultant with thirty years of administrative experience as an elementary principal, district computer director, and K-12 science chair. As a high school teacher, he taught chemistry, physics, and computer science. As an adjunct professor, he taught leadership courses for teachers seeking superintendent and principal certification for Binghamton University and SUNY Cortland. His first publication in 1976 was a chemistry lab manual. Since then he has published over 400 articles in a variety of computer, science, and education journals. He retired in 2006 to care for his wife who had ALS. After she died in 2009 he started blogging at DrDougGreen.Com, where he provides free resources and book summaries for busy parents and educators. He has a BS in chemistry from Clarkson University, an MA in Teaching from Colgate University, a Masters in Administration from SUNY Cortland, and a doctorate in Education from Binghamton University.
