Millard Johnson

Millard Johnson is a native of Seattle, Washington. After high school, he joined the U. S. Air Force and played in the Air Force band at various bases in the US and Germany. He graduated from the University of Washington with a masters degree in Library Science working in university libraries in Oregon, Missouri, and Indiana. Along the way, he studied writing in three universities and various writing workshops. He has been writing recreationally for thirty years and now has two books available.

Johnson's writing is strongly character-based. Whether dealing with people in the rural setting of America's heartland or the horse people of Blazing Star, it is the living characters that we care about in his writing.

Johnson's second book in which livestock insurance investigator Lindy Mc Coo investigates crimes on horseback will be available late 2018.
