Damien Marcus Williams

Damien is a Grenadian immigrant to Jamaica, whose initial sojourn to Jamaica was to pursue studies in theology. He is a community development strategist, whose training in education, media, theology and leadership, had prepared him for his work in Christian ministry as well as his foray into the field of human rights advocacy, community development and activism. He has garnered experience in community mobilisation, project implementation, design and systematisation. During his leisure time, this former teacher of English Language and Literature and former radio talkshow host enjoys blogging, for which he received a Jamaica Blog Award in the category of Best Lifestyle Blog. Damien is a multi-talented individual, gifted in the performing and creative arts. He serves Ekklesia Bible Fellowship as a worship leader, soloist, bible teacher, social media coordinator and strategic planner. Damien has a passion for working with marginalized communities.
