Jen Nails

Born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, Jen has lived in Boulder, CO and New York, NY. She received undergraduate degrees in theater and music and masters degrees in writing and library science. She loves living back in Las Vegas after a long stint in New York City. Her work as a K-12 librarian is the most fulfilling job she's ever had, and she feels lucky to have the opportunity to interact with students and books all day long. Her passions are writing, hiking, yoga, cooking/baking, and her menacing, calico cat Fuzzy is okay, too. Her goal is to visit every National Park in the US by the time she's...older than she is now. 10 down, 49 to go. Favorite authors include Sharon Creech, Karen Hesse, Katherine Patterson, Virginia Euwer Wolff, Beverly Cleary, Jacqueline Woodson, Benjamin Alire Saens, Cathleen Davitt Bell, and Polly Horvath.
