Charlene Johnson

Charlene Johnson is an independent author who creates emotionally rich stories across several imaginative worlds. She is the author of the paranormal romance series *Circle of the Red Scorpion* and its expanding universe, where supernatural beings, ancient mysteries, danger, and enduring love collide.

She also writes romantic suspense in the *Raven Ridge Universe*, formerly known as Sterling Wood, and the *High Stakes Brotherhood* series, formerly known as Blown Away. Her urban romance series, *Asphalt Chronicles*, begins with *Tavar’s Redemption*.

A romantic at heart, Charlene began her creative journey with poetry, exploring the fire of first love, the ache of heartbreak, and the beauty of healing. That lyrical foundation continues to shape her fiction, bringing vivid atmosphere, powerful emotions, and unforgettable characters to her stories.

Charlene has also ventured into middle-grade fiction with *River Reed Adventures*, a series of spooky mysteries for readers ages 9–12. Beginning with *The Halloween Mask Mystery*, the adventures follow River and his friends as they encounter supernatural mysteries and discover the importance of friendship, courage, and doing what’s right. Each book includes free access to a downloadable classroom discussion guide and printable educational activities for families, teachers, and homeschoolers.

As she relaunches and expands her catalog, Charlene continues to welcome longtime fans and new readers into worlds where mysteries unfold, legends come to life, and love and courage shine even in the darkness.
