Derry Knight

Derry Knight was born in 1993 in a small English town. He now lives in the sometimes sunny Bulgaria in Eastern Europe.

"I was raised on Star Wars. My first dream was not to be a writer but to be a Jedi, which didn't work out so now i am trying my hand at writing. My love for science fiction has only ever expanded and i decided i wanted to leave my mark on the genre."

He started his first book Blood Ties because he had a story he wanted to share with the world. There are many meanings to be taken from the words within his novel, some are personal to him whilst others are more obvious and his hope is that everyone finds something that they can connect with. The main ideal that he wanted to portray was that courage and willpower, even against the odds, can change the future if you work hard enough for it. It is moral that has stood the test of time but is now more relevant than ever.
