Kevin Page

Kevin Page is an author, actor, and holds a Master's degree in psychology. He works full-time as a novelist, screenwriter, and has published several works of nonfiction on such topics as mindfulness meditation and mind/body training techniques for artists and college students.

As an actor, he was blown away by a robot (ED-209) in the classic movie, RoboCop (1987), offered Jerry his “show about nothing” on SEINFELD, and played the character that ultimately shot and killed “JR Ewing” on the 2012 re-boot of the TV series DALLAS. Most recently, he guest starred opposite Pierce Brosnan on the AMC TV series, THE SON. He has appeared in over 100 commercials, voice overs, stage plays, and industrial films throughout his 35-year acting career.

His nonfiction titles include, 150% Better Auditions: Using Mindfulness Practice to Improve Your Acting (Acting Theory Books, 2017), a completely different take on auditioning for film and stage actors; Advanced Consciousness Training (A.C.T.) for Actors (Routledge, 2018), that teaches both stage and screen actors how to use various meditative arts to improve their abilities as performers; Psychology for Actors (Routledge, 2018), that applies 20th century post-Stanislavski psychological theories and techniques to the actor’s craft; and College Mindfulness Training: Reducing Student Life Stress and Improving Academic Performance (Routledge, 2019).

In addition to writing and acting, he has been a documentary filmmaker, entrepreneur, gallery owner, and visual artist (pointillist oil painter). He holds four U.S. patents on a technology that combines robotics and human talent to create large-format pointillist-style oil paintings.
