Gilles Guiheux

Gilles Guiheux is a professor at Université Paris Cité, an alumnus of ENS Paris-Saclay, and a former director of the French Centre for Research on Contemporary China in Hong Kong. He teaches in the Department of East Asian Languages ​​and Civilizations (LCAO) and is a member of the Centre for Social Science Studies on the African, American, and Asian Worlds (CESSMA). He has spent several years living in Taiwan and Hong Kong. His work on China lies at the intersection of the socio-history of the economy, the sociology of markets, entrepreneurship, and the sociology of work.
