Martin Lucas

Martin Lucas is the founder of TMX Group, the intellectual and technology holding company behind SDCI™ — a patent-pending cognitive architecture that replaces probabilistic AI with deterministic intelligence routing.

Over a decade, Martin invented 23 foundational sciences including Decision Physics, Irrational Mathematics, Glyph Calculus, and Matrix Time — and built them into MatrixOS, a full cognitive operating system now deployed across nine commercial platforms serving conversion intelligence, strategic intelligence, writing intelligence, and account-based marketing.

His 26 books as primary author form the intellectual foundation of that architecture. Each one isolates a specific mechanism of how the brain decides, distorts, shops, communicates, and fails — and reconstructs it in precise, usable terms. The Gap in the Matrix — Human Architecture Series runs to 23 titles. Earlier works include The Apex of More, Preparing for the World in 2028, and The Universal Law. He has also contributed to Punk XL and Using Technology to Sell.

They are not business books. They are the result of a decade spent reverse-engineering human cognition from first principles.

His work has been recognised by Rory Sutherland (Chairman, Ogilvy) as among the most sophisticated applications of behavioural science to commercial intelligence in existence. He holds eight patent families across the SDCI architecture.

Martin lives in Maidenhead, England.
