Mark Beck, co-writter to "Mystery of the Stones", grew up the village of Willow Springs, Illinois about three miles from Red Gate Woods and 19 miles from the Chicago loop. He attended high school in Wisconsin and graduated with a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison. A career in broadcast television followed as a studio engineer. A career designing and building television stations followed. He walked away from that and lived on a sailboat for 12 years, cruising from Maine to Venezuela in that time. Lived out west in an RV for a couple of years before settling in Eastern Tennessee. Mark feels confident he has enough scientific literacy to navigate these strange times with a good ground. "The Mystery of the Stones was a true joy to work on, I thank my co-author Chantae for the experience and friendship, and her many inspiring ideas."
