Clyde was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and at nineteen wandered off with a friend to Canada to attend a Bible College about which he knew nothing. He liked it, he stayed, he graduated after
confronting leadership on issues of control, deception. and manipulation - now called spiritual abuse. Some lives were ruined. This is not not a how to confront abuse book, it is a story of students under the thumb of abuse and what they did.
Clyde worked 30 years in youth as church youth director, Bible college professor for youth ministries and drama director, then district director for youth ministry in the great Pacific Northwest. Loved the gang, miss them terribly.
My first book is a tribute to a woman God gifted to work with addicts of all kinds. She was one herself and it is amazing she lived to help others. Her story will shock you, but also lead you to be thankful for the great work God did through her ministry.
I met Carrie after hearing her program could help a person with any addiction. Mine was sweets, sugar. Everyone else were alcoholics or drug addicts.
