Jon Latham

Born in Ventura County, California, Jon traveled just about everywhere while his family was in search of employment, giving him a broad, worldly view.

Jon entered the military, serving at Fort Ord, California and from there went to Fort Sam Houston, in San Antonio, Tx. where he received extensive training to become a medic. His education continued in Frankfurt, Germany where he eventually was transferred to Viet Nam.

Frankfurt, Germany was where he was stationed when he met his wife, a civilian nurse doing her part in working the emergency room at the US Army's 97th general hospital.

Jon made it back from Viet Nam and after several years of waiting his turn, eventually became a police officer in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Despite it being a childhood dream, Jon had to move on. He wanted to spend more time with his wife and newborn daughter and he found it necessary to resign.

Jon has always had a strong love for fantasy literature, his favorite authors being J.R.R. Tolkien, and Terry Brooks. He firmly believes everyone has a story inside them.
