At approximately 8 years old, Jesse Barnett first heard the term "Renaissance Man" and with the idea lodged deeply in his brain, set out to conquer the world.
He learned the art of finish carpentry from his dad, sales and business from the University of Georgia, the application of faith and how to speak in front of a crowd from Seminary, the challenge of teaching after writing "the most unique cover letter I'd ever seen", the ability to write professionally by working for leadership expert John C. Maxwell, and How to Be Good at Life by trying things, getting knocked down, but being too stinkin' hard-headed to stay there.
After writing over a million words for other people, he decided to write a series of How to Be Good at Life books for you. These are easy to read and simple to execute guides for doing life well.
Now armed with a laptop, killer beard, self-deprecating humor, and a natural ability to encourage others, he writes books that will help his readers build lives of purpose, strong marriages, meaningful relationships with their kids, a plan for personal growth and self-leadership, a deeper faith that helps them stay true to their convictions, and a message that cuts through the noise.
