Carmen E. Anderson-Harris

Hello Readers, My Name is Carmen Anderson-Harris I live in New Jersey with my family. Jersey is an handsome place with the changing of the leaves, the shore and lots of beautiful places to visit and things to do. I worked with the Willingboro School District for about ten years and have loved every minute of it - Watching the children grow and thrive is wonderful knowing I played a part in it all.

I Care for a friend who was ill and had the bright idea to change my work and broaden my mind in the healthcare field. Working with Bayada Nurses and Virtua serving the sick, and health challenged of all ages. It brought joy to see those who have flourished under my care.

I have traveled to many countries ,leading teams of workers to do community work, I have hosted International Students from eight countries and still write to them and some have revisited me.

I have received the distinguished award from President Obama for Local and Internnational Community Services. That was a great moment as I joined with others to receive such a lovely gesture for hard work, community involvement and love for all people. I enjoy cats, dogs birds and they do make for a good laugh at times. Last week Decker came by (my feral cat) I know she loves chicken, but because this day it was not cut in small pieces, she just looked at the plate and then back at me and walked off. I had to smile.

I am an Author of seven books from Poetry, to Life Testament, and two Children's books.
