Dr. Alison Cook

Dr. Alison Cook is a therapist, psychologist of religion, USA Today & LA Times bestselling author, and host of The Best of You Podcast. She has spent over two decades helping people who feel lonely in their own lives—people who are doing everything right but still can't shake the emptiness, the anxiety, or the quiet feeling of being unseen.

Originally from Wyoming, Alison trained at Dartmouth College (BA), Denver Seminary (MA), and the University of Denver (PhD), where she specialized in integrating psychology and theology. Recognized for blending faith and psychology in a way that is both deeply practical and spiritually alive, Dr. Alison shows you how to move from feeling unseen and disconnected to feeling secure, loved, and fully yourself. Her books, including Boundaries For Your Soul, The Best of You, and The Secure Soul have sold over 150,000 copies nationwide.

She and her husband, Joe, are the parents of two adult children and call the mountains of Wyoming home.
