Dr Dan Lee

Dan had trouble deciding what he wanted to be when he grew up and spent his first few years out of college as a big-city cop. But he didn’t really have the gritty temperament for it and accepted a commission in the U.S. Navy – ultimately rising to the rank of Commander. He eventually moved to the private sector, where he led defense technology studies.

Dan had a spiritual awakening around age forty … in which he discovered the real eternity (the biblical eternity – a dynamic, exhilarating place). And he saw the impact of the Judgment Seat of Christ on our individual roles there. He’s been helping churches ever since (from megachurches to house churches) energize their members with eternity’s motivating power. He has a passion for deep discipleship, especially within churches serving marginalized or downtrodden populations. He holds a joint PhD-ThD in religious studies and theology.

Dan has discovered the great entertainment value of grandkids thanks to his three daughters. He also loves chocolate, Nextflix documentaries, biking, and watching deer out his back window. He lives near Weatherford, Texas with his wife, Betsi.
