Born in Wisconsin, Keith Goldschmidt spent 22 years as a newspaper reporter there and then in Florida after moving to the state capital. Never eager to become an editor, he preferred working the streets, talking to sources, crafting stories people could use to know more about their communities. He won awards along the away, and when he decided to leave the streets, he became a media-relations practitioner working in government agencies. Having worked both sides of the communication spectrum, he understands clearly the role persuasion plays within politics and the impact of outside voices heard on radio and cable networks.
