Adrian Smith

Adrian Smith was born in Ipswich, England in the 1960's.

Adrian's first published book was entitled ‘The Run to End All Runs’, a 2017 Amazon best-seller that recounts his experiences of running and the highs and lows such activity can bring. His second, ‘More Run to End All Runs’ was published in 2019.

His latest books move from the autobiographical to fictional genres. ‘Hong Kong Tom: In the Beginning’, is the first of these - an action and adventure espionage novel, which is a flashback to the late ‘60s/early 70’s. This release is one of seven books from the ‘The Adventures of Hong Kong Tom’ series, which are now all available. Also hot off the press is 'James and the Mystery of the Vanishing Honey Moon', a book aimed at teenagers that is literally 'out of this world'. Not only does it stretch the reader's imagination to its' boundaries, but it also has a very strong environmental message, which resonates perfectly with current global opinion on the subject.

As well as writing, Adrian immerses himself in ‘all things Beatles and Paul McCartney’ and has an extensive collection of their records, CDs, books, videos, DVDs and general memorabilia. He also has a passion for trees, in particular giant, dawn and coastal redwoods.

Adrian still hopes to one day play for his beloved Ipswich Town Football Club.
