Since my retirement, I have been writing children's books and short stories.

After studying civil engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt and the 2nd state examination for the Higher Technical Administrative Service, I worked in various areas of state and local government. Waste management, environmental protection and Immission control have been extremely exciting tasks in my professional life.

My hobbies - paragliding, long-distance running and motorcycling were also exciting and required concentration. Daily jogging laps before work, a few half and whole marathons, as well as more than two 80 km night runs were part of my runner balance. I still like to cruise around with my heavy motorcycle.

In addition to reading, I also like to cook.

Today I live in Upper Bavaria and Tuscany and visit my children and grandchildren as often as possible.
