Steven J Ostermiller

Steven J Ostermiller is a business agility guide helping organizations maximize value and minimize risk. He is the founder and executive director of Utah Agile, a nonprofit community elevating agility for businesses, technology, and individuals. Steve developed and taught agile project management curriculum for post-secondary institutions, is co-author of both Agile Project Management For Dummies and Scrum For Dummies, and is a conference speaker on practical applications of agile techniques.

Steve’s expertise comes from years of successes and learnings as a project manager, product manager, executive, scrum master, agile coach, trainer, and consultant. He has worked with executive leadership and product development teams in a variety of industries on the Fortune lists. He is a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), Certified Agile Leader (CAL 2), ICAgile Certified Professional in Coaching (ICP-ACC), Project Management Professional (PMP), and holds a B.S. in Business Management/Organizational Behavior from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University. Steve also hold certifications in scaling, including Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS), Scrum@Scale, Nexus, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
