Mo (MJ) Parisian lives in Michigan with her husband, Toby, where the winters are long, the coffee is strong, and her laptop is always within reach. She’s the proud mom of two grown boys, Evan and Blake—proof that time really flies when you’re juggling life, laughter, and an endless to-do list.

By day, Mo works full-time at the Michigan Bankers Association, keeping things running smoothly and professionally. By night (and on weekends, and sometimes when she should probably be sleeping), she bakes, reads, and experiments in her ongoing quest to perfect the world’s best chocolate chip cookie recipe.

A lifelong lover of books, Mo’s happy place is anywhere there’s a good story, a good playlist, and maybe a little frosting involved. While she likes to say she runs, she’s also realistic enough to admit that “walks with purpose” might be a more accurate description. And though she’s fallen in love with many things over the years—fictional heroes included—skating and hockey will always have her heart.
