Award-winning bilingual children’s books, animations, and learning experiences by Luz Maria Mack strengthen reading skills, social-emotional learning, and cultural pride. A Dominican-born, Washington Heights–raised, South Bronx-based author, wife, and mother of three, Luz creates stories so children can see themselves reflected while learning life lessons about self-worth, language, resilience, healthy habits, and belonging. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Public Affairs and Administration, which shape the educational and emotional foundation of her work. Her stories reach children through books, 2D animation, games, classrooms, and community partnerships. Luz believes that when children see themselves in stories, they grow in confidence, imagination, and emotional strength—and that belief guides everything she creates.
