Phallon Perry is a writer of children's books, short stories and poetry. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Northwestern University. She also attended Indiana University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and International Studies. She is a native of Baltimore, MD and she is most passionate about telling the story of those who are often underrepresented or misrepresented in literature.
Starting with her first book, Dream to be from A to Zzz, Phallon has had the honor of working exclusively with a diverse group of illustrators and editors who are women. Each illustrator has brought their unique international style to Phallon’s stories, creating a lively experience for the reader.
